Give Her SPACE (Sisters for Peace And Community in Eman) is a private Muslim women’s club focused on empowering and connecting Muslim women through friendship, networking, and classes. We host monthly events that celebrate the unique aspects of our faith and the need for sisterhood throughout the many stages of our lives. Membership is by referral only and includes opportunities to give back to the community.

SPACE was created by three Muslim women, friends for many years, who realized just how difficult it is to find a place to meet, talk, share and be ourselves. A place free of responsibilities and distractions where we could simply hang out and chat as long as we needed, to recharge our mental batteries before we go back and take on the multitude of roles we serve.

Muslim women need a space to gather and combine forces with one another to move our community forward. We hold a unique position in our families and society at large. Many of us feel the struggle of trying to fit in to places that are not always welcoming to the women of Islam.

Our goal at SPACE is to purchase a property where we can come together, celebrate the beauty of our faith, grow and learn together. We also aim to uplift one another through shared activities like exercise classes, Islamic lectures and fun! Members will be able to make fun groups for outings, book clubs and many other shared interests.

We can make it happen but we need YOUR help. We are seeking investors. For now, please donate to make our dream a reality so that we can help the Muslim sisters in the Central Jersey area and beyond.

Who Are We?

Sobia Pervez

Sobia has been living and raising her family in the Central Jersey community for many years now. She has a degree in Psychology which she has used to work with children, adults and the elderly.

For her, SPACE means helping other women succeed and empowering them to do their best! A place where we can all build our dreams together!

Corrie Khan

Originally from Oregon, Corrie has a degree is Sociology with a minor in Psychology. A Jacqueline of All Trades she has worked in offices, as a teacher and librarian. She is also a DIY person.

SPACE is the culmination of the dream she built with Rumana and Sobia to create a safe space for women to gather, network and refresh while building deep, meaningful connections.

Rumana Baig

Rumana holds a degree in Microbiology, Chemistry and Botany. She is also passionate about art and crafting. She currently works as a teacher in a local private school.

Give Her SPACE means connecting with new sisters to make more friends and watch as the women around us see their dreams and passions come true in our unique environment of sisterhood.

Help Our Cause

Your donation will help us get the physical space to run our club. We are currently looking to lease a location in the South Brunswick area where Muslim women can gather for classes, activities and relaxation.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
